FAQ

Everything viewers and streamers usually ask before they jump in. If you are new to elo.market, start here.

01

What is elo.market?

elo.market is a live prediction platform for CS2 streams. Viewers can predict round outcomes, clutches, bomb events, and more while they watch a streamer play.

02

Why is the setup safe?

The setup is based on Counter-Strike Game State Integration (GSI), an official game feature that lets CS send structured match data. The .cfg file simply tells the game what match events to share, such as round starts, bomb plants, and round ends. It does not give elo.market control over the PC, Steam account, or Twitch account, and it does not install software. The platform uses that game data flow so the system can react to what is happening in the match.

03

Is real money involved?

No. elo.market uses virtual currencies only. You cannot deposit, withdraw, or cash out real money, and the platform is designed for entertainment and community engagement.

04

What's the difference between Elo and Sparks?

Elo is your competitive balance for predictions. It resets when a streamer starts a new season. Sparks are loyalty points earned through participation and correct calls, and they stay on your account across seasons for cosmetic unlocks.

05

How are predictions settled?

Predictions are resolved automatically from live CS2 game state data. When the game confirms the outcome, winnings or refunds are applied without the streamer needing to settle anything by hand.

06

Why can't I place a vote?

The most common reasons are: the prediction window already closed, you are not signed in, your Elo balance is too low for the amount, or the match state changed before the vote could be accepted.

07

What happens when a season ends?

Season leaderboards are preserved in the Hall of Fame, active predictions are refunded if needed, and Elo balances reset to the streamer's starting amount for the next season. Sparks and owned cosmetics stay with you.

08

Do I need to be a streamer to use it?

No. Most users join as viewers, sign in with Twitch, and start predicting on live channels right away. You only need a streamer setup if you want elo.market on your own broadcast.

09

How do I add elo.market to my stream?

Create your streamer profile, connect the required integrations, and follow the onboarding flow. Once your channel is configured, elo.market can show live predictions on your page and support your overlay setup.
